Texas Instruments UC3843P Die Shots

Ivo van Poorten of the Netherlands has donated many interesting chips for study. Among them is our smallest chip to date, a Texas Instruments UC3843P current mode PWM controller. Here is it's datasheet.

We only needed to shoot 25 images to cover this tiny die. These were taken on 7/26/2011 by Greg James in San Francisco, then transmitted to the UK where Christian Sattler automatically corrected and stitched them together using a combination of Autopano-sift-C and custom code. A map of stitched images is shown on the right.
